My wife Penny and I live on a 58 Acre Horse Farm in the Midlands of South Carolina. Also spend some time on our property in the mountains of East Tennessee. Earn a living as a web application developer/ hosting provider and commercial photographer. Private Instrument Rated Pilot, not current at the moment. Enjoy reading, nature photography, all aspects of amateur radio and radio controlled model airplanes, flying mostly electric powered scale civilian and military aircraft.

Licensed since 1960 (WV2FCL, NY2I). In the late eighties developed and sold logging/rig control software "ARIES" (Amateur Radio Integrated Entry System). Mostly inactive 1990 to 2007, dusted off old rigs in June of 2007.

 

 

Currently operating on HF using a Flex5000A feeding a Zero Five Flagpole vertical and Dipoles through a Palstar AT2K. I have plans to do some serious antenna farming in the near future. Also using a Yaesu 897D in the shack mostly on vhf/uhf and in the truck have a Yaesu 350R dual band transceiver. Affiliated with ARES & RACES and a member of the Columbia Amateur Radio Club.
